Argyle Tweed & Vest

Argyle, Crail, Braemar, or Tweed !  What's the difference?  Well as with many things and the advent of the internet, yes I am blaming the internet,  and you will see why.  Once upon a time the four names for these jackets had a definite meaning.  All four jackets have the same basic shell and all fit the very same. The names were specifically for the way the sleeves were finished.  The Argyle has the three button going across the sleeve parallel with the edge of the cuff. The Crail is shown below with the sleeve buttons going up the sleeve like a Prince Charlie Jacket, and the Braemar has a single or no buttons.  Well throw all that out.
Since there are so many " Highland Clothing Store" wanna be's"  on the internet ,  I see the jackets called just about everything,  and even one manufacture has called a Braemar jacket an Argyle in his catalog. Not a error, they actually call it that, because "Argyle"  that is the name people know.  So this is an Argyle Tweed with a Crail Cuff. Hows that?

This Tweed is a smooth finish Grey Tweed , but  this tweed is woven much tighter than most tweeds. Making this jacket a great alternative to an Argyle Jacket. Comes with stag horn buttons,  on the sleeves, vest cuffs, and epaulets.
This jacket comes with the vest as a set. Frankly the way it should be. The Argyle style jacket was meant to be vested, but over the years people got cheap and offered the jacket by itself.
