Hat Size You Normally Wear Jacket & Shirt Measurements are like a sport or suit coat. Measure around the biggest part of your chest. Sleeve Length is what a dress shirt lists or measure from center of back out to wrist. Kilt Size Waist this measurement is at the belly button. The top of the kilt should be worn approximately one inch above  the belly button. Hip or Ledge this measurement is around the hip bones. This measurement is normally several inches larger than the waist. Length this is best done by two people. The kilt wearer should be on his knees. Measure from one inch above belly button to one in above floor. When you receive your new kilt, put it on kneel and see that it hangs to one inch above the floor. This is an easy way to check when you are by yourself.
