Ladies Zippered Diamond and Lace Cardigan Sweater

Shetland Diamond and Lace pattern. Zippered Cardigan, waist length.   Made in County Mayo , Ireland of 100% pure new wool. In 1790 the unusual qualities of Shetland wool were "discovered" by the rest of Scotland when samples were taken back to Edinburgh and received with acclaim. The Society of British Wool was formed at this time to improve the standards of sheep breeding and wool production. Shetland wool is among the softest available. It can be spun and plied into various thicknesses of yarn, for weaving and knitting. Knitwear around the world uses this fine wool.

 This Cardigan with Diamond and lace pattern is a departure from our traditional weaves. The best of both worlds, a more refined look and feel with zipper closure and Shetland wool for warmth.
