Although more expensive in single width a choice of two natural selvedges can often prove an advantage with no join required in the manufacture of the kilt. Strome Double width:, Currently available in 110 tartan, 138cm/54" wide, weighing 500gms/16oz. Recognized as the premier kilt weight fabric and worn by most pipe bands worldwide.
